...I am a huge fan of the franchise too, (the original SNES game is still my favorite videogame of ALL TIME), so it's always fun to see more fan art of these great characters.
There is something about your depiction of Slippy that is very unique and distinctive. I like it.

I think it's great that there are others out there who are not so quick to HATE on the Slipster, and don't make him into a looser by default. I think he is a fun and very lovable character.
I've been writing up the storylines for a StarFox fan-series/comic in my spare time, and in the interest of developing all of the characters, I've been creating a "15 minutes of fame" moment for each of them, where their unique talents and skills are allowed to really shine. So far, of the four or so I've worked out, Slippys is one of the most dramatic, and by far the most emotional.
I think Slippy Toad is one of my favorite characters in the franchise, (more so than Falco, Wolf, and Krystal), so somehow I feel obligated to Hero-ize him in my own way, without betraying his charming, shy, awkwardness.
I think you did a great job of capturing the personality of all five of them. (especially Slippy and Falco)
